Winter warmers, or even cold drinks for sale in the summer, are an absolutely brilliant way for an organisation to make money. On this page we are going to take a little look at about what they are all about.
Winter warmer involves the selling of hot drinks to help warm people up during those cold winter months. Cold drinks in the summer should be fairly obvious (although you may want to sell a few hot drinks then, just to get as many people to buy from you as possible)
How to Set Up Winter Warmers Fundraiser?
One of the reasons as to why this is such a fantastic way in which to make money is down to the fact that it is so easy to set up. You can put your winter warmer or cold drinks stand down whenever. All you need is a few supplies and you are pretty much good to go. For example; there are a few organisations out there who will sell warm drinks at a sports match, or perhaps at a local fare. The drinks tend to sell fairly well too.
The main problem with both the idea of a winter warmer and cold drinks in the summer is down to the fact that the profit margins are not all that high. You obviously do not want to be selling drinks at a price which people can’t afford. This means that in order to make money you are going to need to sell quite a few of them. Thankfully; there are a couple of extra ways in which to make money. As I mentioned previously; the majority of people out there will sell the drinks as a sort of ‘side line’ to another event that they are running. It is very rarely going to be the main way in which to make funds for an organisation (unless they are taking part in another event run by somebody else of course). You can extend the profits even further by combing it with a bake sale or something similar to that. Most people will love this combined with a good cup of coffee (or tea!). The bake sale products will tend to have a slightly better profit margin too, which is always a plus.
Setting up to sell your drinks in the winter or the summer is not all that difficult. As I mentioned previously; all you need to do is make sure that you have a decent amount of supplies. The last thing you want to do is run of products after all. In addition to this; you will also want to have a good amount of ‘change’ to hand. People will probably be spending some rather large notes (hopefully they will not!), and that means that you are going to need to have some cash to hand to actually give them some change. Other than that; everything should end up going smoothly. It really is a case of just pouring drinks and that should be simple!
